Modular Homes |
How are MODULAR homes constructed?
Modular homes are built off-site and transported to the building site on special
carriers. The sections are permanently attached to a stem-wall foundation. Our modular
homes are built to the International Residential Code (IRC), which is the latest
building code today. Most site built homes are built to UBC, which was written in
1985. Our modular homes have to be strongly built because they travel down the freeway
which a typical site-built home could never do.
Because a modular home has no steel frame like a manufactured home they qualify
for all types of Conventional, FHA and VA financing and can be placed in many areas
zoned for site-built homes only. We also specialize in assisting with 184 programs,
title VI, and tax credit programs.
Our modular homes are very well designed inside and out. Exteriors can be customized
in many ways, ranging from truly unique log siding to the lasting beauty of a stucco
finish with a tile roof. From the unique exteriors to the elegant interiors, modular
homes will help you design and personalize the home of your dreams.
Off-frame modular homes will save you money and time while affording you improved
value. Our modular homes can be built in less total time than a site-built home
with a lower cost per square foot. Costs are reduced by saving on waste and pilferage,
improved volume purchasing and state of the art process control. Combining highly
skilled labor with a talented management team yields a higher quality modular home
with savings that are passed on to our customers.
